The
Feast
of
Trumpets.
We
cover
scriptures
that
show
the
meaning
of
this
very
important
day
that
God
has
set
aside
for
us
to
observe
each
year.
Many
people
know
this
day
as
“Rosh
Hashanah”
and
are
familiar
with
it
because
of
the
Jewish
new
year.
But
to
understand
this
Holy
Day,
one
must
understand
scriptures
in
both
the
Old
and
New
Testament.
The
Church
of
God,
Ministries

shares
some
GOOD
NEWS
in
this
week’s
program.
We
have
an
update
from
Kenya.
We
had
announced
in
“News,
Nuggets,
and
Insights,”
July
21st,
that
“Kenya
Hands
of
Hope”
had
a
special
need
for
their
orphanage.
Praise
God,
that
need
has
been
met!
Prayers
have
been
answered
and
God’s
people
responded
with
generous
outpouring.
They
now
have
a
much
needed
and
required
vehicle
for
the
children.
They
are
so
very
grateful
and
want
to
thank
everyone
for
their
prayers
and
help.

Mr.
Bobby
Edmonds
from
the
Mobile,
AL
Church
of
God,
Ministries
congregation
gave
a
very
inspiring
sermon
last
Sabbath
in
New
Orleans.
This
week
on
“News,
Nuggets,
and
Insights,”
Mr.
Edmonds
shares
a
touching,
personal
story
from
his
youth.
He
gives
some
information
about
the
congregation
in
Mobile
and
welcomes
everyone
to
visit
if
they’re
ever
in
the
Mobile
area.
Each
Sabbath
they
have
a
potluck
after
services
and
share
in
uplifting
fellowship.
They
are
a
warm
and
friendly
group
who
always
shows
their
southern
hospitality.
Mr.
Edmonds
shares
his
enthusiasm
with
us
as
he
paints
a
picture
of
his
church
family
in
Mobile
who
are
blessed
to
have
a
nice
place
to
meet
in
and
a
very
good
pastor
of
whom
Bobby
speaks
highly.
Thank
you

being
a
part
of

outreach
in
spreading
the
gospel.

bad
news.
God
