LUKE 23:31 – IF THEY DO THESE
THINGS IN THE GREEN (VICTORY GARDENS)
There can be no doubt that 2025 is already a monumental year of natural
disasters. The horrendous scenes from the Texas floods alone had Americans
shocked and saddened. But there were many other catastrophes happening
around the country. Little was reported about the Dragon Bravo Fire in the
Grand Canyon National Park that has now become the largest wildfire in the
Continental U.S. Volcanoes around the nation have been rumbling and even
spewing lava. Everyone has heard about the mega earthquake in Russia. It was
the sixth largest earthquake on record. A devastating flash flood in
northern India swept through a small town and destroyed everything in its
path. Why is all of this happening?
Have there always been earthquakes? Has the world always experienced
devastating floods and wildfires? Of course it has. But Jesus Himself told
us what to look for as we face the future. We are now seeing some of these
very things come to pass right before our eyes. In this week’s program we
connect the dots to important events that fall into place and help us see
where we are on God’s timeline.
For our nuggets portion of the program, we consider the warnings of Christ
found in Luke 23:31 in which He said, “For if they do these things in a
green tree, what shall be done in the dry?” NNI is happy to share an
insightful video to help us learn from the times of the Great Depression and
the World War 2 era. You won’t want to miss this week’s sobering but
inspiring program.
